Role overview:
This is a fundamental and unique role within Itad ultimately responsible for ensuring that appropriate IT solutions are in place to ensure the smooth running of the company and to help us succeed in achieving our goals.
The Systems and Information manager is responsible for overseeing server, network and IT systems provisions for the company. This role acts as the technical lead for the on-going maintenance of existing IT services and for the design and implementation of new services and will be required to work across the business to ensure the right IT solutions are in place. The role sits within Itad’s Operations team and will work closely with our Knowledge Hub in particular to ensure that our Knowledge Management system is continually fit for purpose. Our Knowledge Management system (M-Files) is relatively new to the company and provides a great opportunity to work with people from across the business to ensure we get the best use from the system.
Administrative support to the role is available internally but predominately will be provided by our external support services when required.
In addition a key element of the role is to ensure that the company continues to be compliant with current Data Protection regulations, in particular GDPR. You will be responsible for ensuring that appropriate processes and systems are in place across the business.

The successful candidate will have a proven technical background in a similar sized organisation with experience in all aspects of IT delivery. The role requires a solid understanding of IT systems architecture and infrastructure as well as information management and data security. Equally they will be able to interpret technical requirements into business needs and vice versa. The successful candidate will have experience working closely with information users to understand how to improve knowledge management systems, developing organisational capacity and building a strong culture of information management.

Your work and specific responsibilities will include:
Information Systems Management:

Knowledge Management: Oversight of administration of the new Knowledge Management System (MFiles)
